Channels

The structural steel channel features a wide “web,” which is usually oriented vertically making the shape of a “C”. The web is accompanied by two “flanges” located at the top and bottom, protruding on one side of the web.

Sugar Steel carries both standard channels and MC channels. MC channels are also known as “ship and car channels” or “miscellaneous channels”. Both shapes are highly suitable for a wide range of processing techniques. The strength and versatility channels make them ideal for various applications such as building frames, supports, and other structural and architectural elements. Their dimensions and thicknesses vary to fit the needs of their specific application.
